At ABT, we understand the importance of oligonucleotides in clinical and therapeutic applications. Oligonucleotides (often referred to as oligos) are short DNA sequences of nucleotides that are emerging as novel and promising alternatives to a wide variety of diseases. 

These therapeutic areas require high-quality materials. To meet this demand, the industry will need to overcome several purification challenges, including purity and yield at a commercial scale. More specifically, during oligonucleotide synthesis, a significant amount of failure reads are created and need to be purified away.

The need to improve the purity and performance of the oligonucleotide purification process, has led us to develop two new anion-exchange agarose resins:

Both resins greatly improved the loading capacity, purification yield, and purity of a crude mRNA's
