SP Rapid Run™ Agarose Resin is a highly crosslinked matrix with a bead size of 50-150 µm activated with Sulfopropyl. It is developed to perform Ion Exchange Chromatography and separate biomolocules on the basis on their net surface charge. ABT offers two different types of Cation Exchangers depending on their interaction strength: SP Rapid Run™ as a Strong Cation Exchanger and CM Rapid Run™ as a Weak Cation Exchanger.
