The resin has a high amount of amino groups (40-60 µmoles diaminoethyl /ml gel) providing a very good option to conjugate affinity ligands improving the stability of the ligand. The backbone of the resin is 6% agarose beads and the pore size is adequate to work with enzymes & proteins mainly.
